Copper, the key to fat metabolism in the body.

A new study shows copper is a metallic element that plays important role in the metabolism of body's fat and can be effective in the treatment of obesity. As the report of Salamat News quoting by IRNA, copper as a metal element with high electrical conductivity and malleability properties, is widely used in electronics, computers, buildings, equipment, furniture and jewelry. According to the National Institute of Physics of America, over the past decade researches show this element in addition to industry, is also effective in biological functions. Copper plays important role in the production of red blood cells, iron absorption, growth and development of tissues in the body and support the immune system connectors. The new study by researchers at Berkeley Lab and the University of California shows that copper plays important role in fat metabolism and is essential to break down fat cells and energy production. Whatever the amount of copper in the body is more, the fat decomposition doing more. However, the researchers warn that the amount of this mineral in the body should not be exceeded because it interferes with other minerals such as zinc.
